Your Role as Social Media Manager
As a Social Media Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, among others. You will manage daily content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis to ensure our brand message is consistently communicated and resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Amazon’s business goals.
- Creatively plan, produce, and manage high-quality content that captivates and engages our target audience.
- Oversee all social media channels and the day-to-day activities, including monitoring and engaging with customers through replies, shares, and comments.
- Analyze performance metrics and insights to measure effectiveness of campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that our brand message is consistently applied across all social media platforms.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to identify new opportunities for audience engagement.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently to maximize impact of social media campaigns.
- Coordinate with influencers and brand ambassadors to grow our online presence and brand credibility.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on social media performance for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
- Proven track record of creating and executing successful social media campaigns.
- Strong expertise in social media analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Buffer.
- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills with impeccable attention to detail.
- Creative thinking and ability to adapt strategies based on data insights.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their audiences, and best practices for engagement.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
